Created during the pandemic to keep Downtown Northville lively and connected, The Twist has become a favorite for both visitors and local businesses. This pedestrian-friendly social district transforms portions of Town Square, Main Street between Wing and Hutton, and Center Street between Dunlap and Cady into safe, car-free zones.

Here, you can stroll the brick streets, dine outdoors, shop, and even enjoy an adult beverage on the go while soaking up the lively atmosphere that makes Downtown Northville such a unique place to gather.

How to Enjoy The Twist

1️⃣ Visit a participating restaurant or bar (open daily from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm).
2️⃣ Order your favorite beverage in an official Twist cup.
3️⃣ Step outside and enjoy strolling the designated sidewalks, streets, and commons areas. Look for signs marking the boundaries.
4️⃣ Sip, shop, and take in the energy of Downtown Northville.
5️⃣ Dispose of your cup responsibly. It is for one-time use only.
6️⃣ Repeat at a new stop and enjoy the experience all over again.
