Buy the right home with a clearer plan.
Buying in Northville, Novi, South Lyon, Plymouth, Brighton, Green Oak, New Hudson, Wixom, or the surrounding Metro Detroit market takes more than alerts and showings. It takes local judgment, careful preparation, and advice that protects your long-term decision.
A better buying experience starts
before the first showing.
Most buyers do not need to be sold. They need to understand what they are buying, what the market is telling them, and where the risks may be hiding. My role is to help you compare homes clearly, write offers with intention, and make decisions you can feel steady about after closing.
Calm guidance from someone who knows the area beyond the listings.
Before real estate, I was a firefighter and EMT. That work taught me how to stay calm in uncertain moments, listen closely, and focus on what matters first. Those habits still guide the way I work with buyers today.
I grew up in Novi, graduated from Novi High School, earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and have raised my family in the area. I know these communities through the market, but also through daily life, school conversations, local roads, commute patterns, neighborhood feel, and the details that rarely fit neatly into a listing description.
That local perspective matters when you are comparing two homes that both look good online. One may have better long-term resale strength. One may carry a location tradeoff you have not considered. One may be priced for urgency rather than value. My job is to help you see the full picture.
What I help you evaluate before you commit.
A good buyer strategy is not just about finding a house. It is about understanding the home, the neighborhood, the numbers, and the terms before your name is on a contract.
Market position
We look at comparable sales, buyer activity, days on market, price changes, and whether the home is likely to attract competing offers.
Resale strength
We talk through layout, location, condition, school district, neighborhood demand, and the factors that may help or hurt future resale.
Offer terms
Price matters, but so do inspection terms, appraisal risk, possession, occupancy, financing strength, and timing. The strongest offer is the one that fits your goals and protects you.
Local buyer guidance across
western Metro Detroit.
I work with buyers across the communities where I have the deepest market context, including established neighborhoods, newer construction areas, condo communities, acreage properties, and move-up homes.
A clear path from first conversation
to closing.
Start with timing, goals, and comfort level.
We talk through where you are now, where you want to be, and what would make a move feel worth it. There is no pressure to start touring before the plan makes sense.
Get the financial picture clear.
If you need a lender, I can connect you with trusted local professionals. We focus on what you can comfortably afford, not just what you can technically qualify for.
Search with context, not just alerts.
I set up a focused search and help you compare homes by condition, location, neighborhood pattern, pricing history, and long-term fit.
Write the offer with strategy.
We discuss price, contingencies, inspection approach, appraisal risk, possession, and the seller's likely priorities so your offer is clear and intentional.
Navigate inspection, appraisal, and closing.
My team and I keep the details organized, explain what is happening, and advocate for your interests when issues need to be solved.
The quiet details matter.
Inspection reality
We separate normal maintenance from concerns that deserve deeper review, negotiation, or a second opinion.
Appraisal risk
We look at recent sales and offer structure before you decide how much risk is reasonable.
Location tradeoffs
Road exposure, drainage patterns, school boundaries, commute routes, and subdivision differences can change the long-term decision.
Good questions make the process safer.
Do I pay for your services as a buyer?
Buyer representation compensation is negotiable and is explained in writing before showings or offers. Depending on the property and agreement, compensation may be paid through seller concessions, paid by the buyer, or handled another way that is clearly disclosed before you commit. I will walk through the current buyer agreement and compensation language with you before we begin.
When should I reach out if I am not ready yet?
Earlier is better. Many buyers begin the conversation six to twelve months before they buy. That gives us time to clarify financing, neighborhoods, timing, and what tradeoffs are worth making.
Do you work with first-time buyers?
Yes. First-time buyers deserve clear explanations without being talked down to. I walk through each step, define the terms that matter, and help you understand what is normal and what deserves attention.
Can you help if I am relocating to Metro Detroit?
Yes. My team and I regularly help relocating buyers compare communities, schedule efficient tours, review homes by video when needed, and understand the differences between local markets.
What makes your buyer guidance different?
I communicate directly and calmly. I do not push buyers into homes, and I do not ignore concerns to keep a deal moving. I tell you what I would want to know if my own family were buying the home.
